This is my go to place for bar food. They actually make their mozzarella sticks homemade and if youre a mozzie expert like me, that means a lot!

I was referred to Doofers by a few patrons of Marco Polo in Seattle, since they both offer broasted chicken on their menu. The nice thing about Doofers is that they've got a kid-friendly section if you've got kids, yet the section isn't too close to the bar so those preferring a kid-free environment have decent separation. Unfortunately, the wait times for the chicken were close to 40 minutes, which is about 10 minutes more than it would take without a small backup. That's not too long to wait for such great chicken, but this time I brought my kids and they wouldn't last that long, so I'm planning a return trip without them. The food was good. We tried the potato, chicken fingers, chicken wings, chili and fries (it wasn't a very healthy dinner, that's for sure). They were really good, but the chicken came out a bit too charred for my taste which is the only thing preventing me from giving them five stars. The service was excellent, despite being packed that night which meant that service wasn't speedy, but she was definitely friendly and attentive. I'm also pretty sure she would've taken care of the chicken wing issue, but I didn't have enough time to pursue this. I'll update my review once I've eaten here a few more times for a more accurate description.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and wanted to try it out. The good was very good and decently priced. The service was a little slow (which is kind of odd since it wasn't busy) which my only real complaint. It's a bit "dingy"--not dirty, but, for example, the cushion on our booth was literally held together with black duct tape--but if you're going to a dive bar, it's probably not gonna bother you. I would come here again for sure.

Always good food and excellent service. Staff is always friendly and working to do their best. So many good choices. Fried Chicken is one of the best. So glad it's become one of our spots for family and friends. It feels like Home as we are always warmly welcomed. Bloody Mary's are perfect. When we get to Doofers, it's like going back in time, the atmosphere is like the 80's and it's one of my favorite time periods. Family friendly and excellent prices w/ quality food.

The peanut butter hamburger was so yummy I had to ask for more peanut butter it made that much sense! My friend has the southwestern burger and she said it was also really delicious. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Will definitely go back !! Also they have pool and darts with plenty of screens to watch a game. Also family friendly. Decent vibe and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. Looks like they have lots of regulars.

Burgers are really good at a fair price. Huge portions and fast service. Kind of a low-key bar. Pool tables and good beer. Blaster burger is good
